Supporting Passionate Africans through Relationships, Knowledge, and Tech
SPARK is a COMPLETELY FREE technology education program for ambitious, STEM-curious teen girls across Africa. Students aged 11 to 16 work through structured computer science coursework at their own pace. When they need support, volunteer mentors from Silicon Valley are just a request away. By the end of the program, every student designs and builds an independent tech project that reflects their interests and advances their journey in STEM.
Selected students are enrolled in an online course through Google Classroom, working through lessons, coding exercises, and assignments.
Stuck on something you can't solve alone? Submit a help request and a volunteer mentor will schedule time to guide you through the challenge.
After completing the curriculum, apply what you've learned by designing and building an independent project on a topic that excites you.
Questions about the program, mentorship, or how to get involved? We would love to hear from you.
